President of Tamil Nadu Producers Council actor Vishal said that, 'The shooting of all movies can commence from the coming Friday (20 April) after the producers are submitting the agreement copies to the council, which in turn get the approval of FEFSI to kick start the shooting'. He said, Mercury movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj starring Prabhudeva will be the first film to release after the strike. He also added saying 'We are setting up the ‘Release Regulatory Committee’, which will comprise of producers, distributors, FEFSI office-bearers, who will be regularizing the release dates.'
