The movie stars Anushka taking over a lead role after Arundhati. It seems that Rudhramadevi is the first historical stereoscopic 3D film and it is made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.  Directed and produced by Gunasekhar, Sri Thenandal Films is releasing the movie on June 26. 

The cast is shared by Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati and Hot actress Hamsa Nandini is playing a princess role. Having a high budget of 70 crore, the art works are done by Padma Shri Thota Tharani and the music composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. 

It looks like the movie has some shots from the Thousand Pillar temple at Warangal.

Rudramadevi is the first Indian 3D historic film, simultaneously being produced in Telugu and Tamil languages. The film is directed by Gunasekhar, and has an ensemble cast like Anushka Shetty, Krishnam Raju, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal, Catherine Tresa and many more. Anushka will be seen as Rudrama Devi, the 13th century revered Telugu queen of the Kakatiya dynasty. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by Ilaiyaraaja and the art direction is handled by Thotta Tharani.
