The super hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy starring Pelli Choopulu fame Vijay Devarakonda in the lead role and Shalini Pandey in the female lead was directed by Sandeep Reddy. There was an overwhelming response to this film so it is decided to be remade in Tamil starring Vikram’s son Dhruv in the lead role, which is titled as ‘Varma’. Vikram who is one of the leading actors of Kollywood is introducing his son Dhruv in this film which is to be directed by Bala. This film is being produced by E4 Entertainments. It has been mentioned that talks are being held with Shriya Sharma of Sillunu Oru Kadhal fame for the female lead role. Kumki fame Sukumar is the cinematographer of the movie and Vikram himself has confirmed this on his Instagram page. The pre-production works have been completed and the movie goes on the floor tomorrow, this will be the first day of shoot for Vikram's son Dhruv.
