Ilayaraja is now busy composing music for a Marathi film. It is unbelievable that Isaignani Ilayaraja has roped in National award winning actor Dhanush to sing a song for the movie. Ilayaraja has scored the music for Dhanush movies including Balu Mahendra’s Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam and Balki’s Shamitabh. When Dhanush ventured into production with Amma Kanakku, he brought on board the maestro. Much recently for his Maar2 which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Ilayaraja recorded a song in his voice. Dhanush as a singer has sung more than 50 songs with his Kolaveri Di winning greater accolades across the globe.
