It was first said that Sai Pallavi will be playing the lead female role in Suriya 36 and now there is an addition to the cast of this film. Now, Neeraj Kona being signed as the costume designer made a casual tweet of expressing gratitude of thanksgiving towards the entire team for involving her as costume designer and mentioned that Rakul Preet Singh is also a part of this cast and crew. This had pulled an extensive impact of attraction upon the film. Sooner, the official announcement from Dream Warrior Pictures has mentioned that Rakul Preet Singh is onboard for this movie. The shooting of this will commence after the festival of Pongal. According to the confirmation made by Dream Warrior pictures, the film will be hitting screens on the festive occasion of Diwali 2018. It is quite a prestigious project for dream Warrior pictures SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu, who have been consistently making critically acclaimed movies like Joker, Theeran Adhigaram Ondru and Aruvi.
