After the grand success of Mersal, It was confirmed that AR Murugadoss will start shooting with Vijay, for Vijay 62 by end of January 2018. Meanwhile, there were rumours that AR Rahman is composing music for this film and the process of finalizing the project is happening now. It is confirmed that AR Rahman will be signing the project sooner and it is the fourth collaboration of this duo after Udhaya, Azhagiya Tamizh Magan and Mersal. Girish Gangadharan is handling cinematography for this film. Many where very much inquisitive on knowing who would be playing the female lead role in this film. It is now officially confirmed that Keerthy Suresh will be the one. This is the second time, she is pairing with Vijay after ‘Bairavaa’. It is also reported that the shooting of this film commencing in January 2018 will be ending in 6 months time.
