After the grand success of Mersal, It was confirmed that AR Murugadoss will start shooting with Vijay, for Vijay 62 by end of January 2018. Meanwhile, there were rumours that AR Rahman is composing music for this film and Vijay is keen on getting AR Rahman onboard as Mersal songs happened to be top of the list still and gave a big reach for the success of the movie. Now, it looks like the rumour to be true and the process of finalizing the project is happening now. Sources close to Sun pictures revealed that, AR Rahman will be signing the project sooner. This is the 4th time both Vijay and AR Rahman are teaming up together after Udhaya, Azhagiya Tamizh Magan and Mersal. Apparently, AR Murugadoss and Vijay together have already Streaked line of success with Thuppakki and Kaththi. It is also reported that the shooting of this film commencing in January 2018 will be ending in 6 months time. If everything goes well, the film might get scheduled for Dussera 2018 release.
