Over the past few months, there has been a lot of rummours claiming that Rajinikanth’s 2.0 will be hitting screens for the Republic Day on January 26th. Now, it has been officially announced by the Lyca Productions that 2.0 release is scheduled for April 2018. This is due to the fact that the movie involves lots of CG and Animatronics as it will be completely made in 3D format. The film has already created a lot of excitements in the Indian film industry for its grandeur elements. Made at a whopping cost of 350 crores budget, it features Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar and many more prominent actors alongside Rajinikanth in lead roles. AR Rahman’s couple of songs has already topped the charts.
