RD Raja and Sivakarthikeyan gave a big hit with Remo. Following the success of Remo, producer RD Raja and Sivakarthikeyan has come with a new film titled Velaikkaran directed by Thani Oruvan fame director Mohan Raja. They have also planned to make another film under the directorial of Ponram. Shooting of this film Velaikkaran was recently completed an entire team had celebrated the farewell as well. With the post production works of the film is almost over and the producers are planning to release the movie on December 22 for the festive occasion of Christmas. It is now reported that SPI Cinemas has acquired the theatrical rights of Velaikaran in Chennai. Sri Thenandal Films, producers of Vijay starrer Mersal will be releasing the movie in Chengalpet area. This is really turning to be a bigger business for a Sivakarthikeyan movie and everyone is quite confident about striking gold with this film. RD Raja has produced this movie under the banner 24 AM studios and Mohan Raja has directed it. Nayanthara, Fahad Fazil, Prakash Raj, Sneha, Rohini, RJ Balaji, Satish and few more prominent actors are a part of this movie.
