Burning issues and most discussed social topics become a movie now a days. The brutal incident of recent issue of private money lending (Kandhu Vatti) has become more sensational and here is a film based on it. ‘Podhu Nalan Karudhi’, the film is directed by debut filmmaker Zion, featuring Santhosh Pratap, Adith Arun, Karunakaran and Anu Sithara in lead roles. Speaking about the film Zion says, “The film will have a commercial package though the issue is based on serious theme of Kandhu Vatti. We had to go through lots of auditions before finalizing Santhosh. He plays a collection boy and Karunakaran as an innocent man. The main attraction of this film would be Yog Japee, who is playing negative role in this film.”
