‘Nenjil Thunivirundhal’ featuring Sundeep Kishan and Vikranth in lead roles hit the screens last week was bound to mixed reviews. Many film critics and audiences felt that there are unwanted sequences in the first half. Taking this feedback, Suseenthiran has re-released the movie from yesterday (November 13) in theatres. It has deleted the complete episodes of Mehreen with a complete change in intermission and climax portions. The new version was screened to media and press getting a positive response following which Suseenthiran explained the situation. He said, “I have no other words than sorry to ask Mehreen. Saying sorry wouldn’t be an appropriate gesture and I don’t know how to convince her. She had worked with us for more than 15 days giving her best effort. But in view to the feedbacks, we had no option other than trimming these portions, which looked unwanted for the basic plot. 20 minutes of this film has been trimmed and hope people like it.”
