Actor Karthi’s previous release Kaatru Veliyidai was appreciable but did not do well at the box office. Now Karthi is completely confident that Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru will be showcasing the reality shades of how a police department works. Actor Karthi says, “Cops are often portrayed in exaggerated dimension. They’re so simple and ordinary like any other brother or our friend. The situation that demands them to become police is what it shapes them. Everyone in the academy undergoes the same training, which involves physical tasks, but their mentality is crafted by their situations. There happens to be a police officer well known to me. I had met for the sake of some groundwork upon Theeran. He surprised me saying that he initially wanted to become a college professor, but had to take up police as a profession. At the same time, he feels so much ambitious that he could just feel angry when looking at a crime, but as a police officer is able to handle the situation.” Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru will be showcasing the different dimension of police and police department.
