It was very doubtful for Vijay Fans and other cinema lovers if Mersal will be releasing this diwali or not. Since, the Animal Welfare Board asked for the NOC for using piegions and other animals in the movies. AWB questioned the censor board regarding the U/A certification without their clearences, as Atlee tweeted a few days back that Mersal was certified U/A. But, the censor board denied the allegation and clarified that they haven’t issued any certificate for the movie yet. This made people Vijay fans and cinema lovers little disappointed and very much confused till now. It was unknown if the movie will be out for this diwali. Today morning an urgent meeting was called for AWB on Mersal issue to resolve the issue. And now, AWB has accepted give clearance for Vijay’s Mersal. Vijay starrer Mersal is hitting screens on October 18 for the festive occasion of Diwali. The preparations are getting bigger for the movie. It is already going through some hurdles involving AWBI and censorship, which is expected to be cleared off by end of this day. Meanwhile, Vijay fans and ‘Mersal’ team are keeping the fingers crossed for a big Diwali bash.
