Vijay starrer Mersal, which has been the talk of the town for months and now, the film is scheduled for release on October 18 with worldwide premieres planned a day ahead on October 17. The fans of Thalapathy Vijay are so much high-spirited to witness the grand show on big screens. The striking teaser of Vijay’s Mersal that had its release a few weeks ago has intensified the expectations of Mersal. Meanwhile, the trade circles have confirmed that the film will be releasing in around 3292 theatres worldwide. This becomes the biggest release of recent times from Tamil film industry with more than 800 theatres in Malaysia alone. The Telugu version of Mersal will have a simultaneous release on the same date, which assures producers about the big opening. Thenandal Studios Limited has been burning candles on both ends to offer a big boom of promotional phase now.
