Mersal will hit the screens in Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Kerala on this Diwali. On the same day Vishal’s Thupparivaalan, ‘Detective’ in Telugu and Malayalam movie ‘Villain’ were also scheduled to release. Now it is said that ‘Villian’ featuring Mohan Lal and Vishal in Malayalam for the first time has postponed their release.

It is said that the movie is postponed to October 27th. Unnikrishnan has directed this movie and Rockline Venkatesh has produced this Malayalm movie.

Mersal is an Indian Tamil-language epic action masala film directed by Atlee and written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. The film stars Vijay in lead role with Jyothika, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, S. J. Surya, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan. The film holds a formidable technical team, A. R. Rahman as the music composer, Ruben will handle the cuts while debutant GK Vishnu will be the man behind the camera, the art department will be headed by T. Muthuraj and Neeraja Kona is the costume designer.
