Smule is a musical application in which we can download our favorite karoke and sing along and record our voices. Recently many are using this app especially couples are using it to sing their favorite song together.

We all know Tamil people used this app largely to sing their favorite evergreen Ilaiyaraja hits. In the meanwhile, Ilaiyaraja’s copyrights manager has asked to remove all the Ilaiyaraja songs from the Smule app as they haven’t got proper authorization or permission to use Ilaiyaraja songs in the application. Since this is against the law they are taking down Ilaiyaraja songs from the App.

Ilaiyaraaja is an Indian film composer who works predominantly in the South Indian cinema since the late 1970s. Regarded as one of the finest music composers in India, Ilaiyaraaja is also an instrumentalist, conductor, singer, and a songwriter. He has composed more than 5000 songs and is the only composer in the history of cinema to provide film scores for more than 1000 films, particularly being acclaimed for his background scoring.
