Mahesh Babu is making his debut in Tamil cinema with the film ‘Spyder’, directed by AR Murugadoss. Touted to be a social thriller, the film is simultaneously getting released in Tamil and Telugu. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead role in this film, which features SJ Surya as the baddie. Harris Jayaraj’s songs have been considerably faring well in audio charts and Santhosh Sivan cinematography is yet another embellishment to the film. Last evening, the Tamil version of Spyder was viewed by CBFC and is passed with UA certificate. It is noteworthy that the film doesn’t carry any smoking or drinking scenes. The film is scheduled for release on September 27 for the festive occasion of Dussera.
