After working with director Bala in Thara Thappatai Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is looking more challenging roles now and her choice of scripts has been much more appreciable. She has now signed a film with director Priyadarshini, who was an associate director with Mysskin. Touted to be a film with unconventional dimension, it will have a mix of thriller, travel and mystery laced with high volatile action sequences. Director Priyadarshini spoke about the movie mentioning that it will be a kind of interesting thriller and Varalaxmi will not have any love interest. They are in talks with a leading actor to play the antagonist. Predominantly to be shot across Chennai and Pune, the film will be on the lines of Kill Bill and Lucy. Vikram Vedha fame Sam CS likely to compose music for this film. Onaaiyum Attukutiyum cinematographer Balaji Ranga has been signed to crank the camera. The first look will be launched on September 30 and shoot will commence from October 15.
