This movie mainly focuses on how vote campaign in our state is happening; this must be the right time to release the movie. Thappu Thanda is hitting the screens tomorrow. Balu Mahendra has given as so many fine directors to Tamil cinema and one such student of Balu Mahendra is Srikandan. He has directed the movie and like Managaram and Joker Thappu Thanda will also have good reception. When Srikandan was asked about the movie, “To develop the story it took me almost a year to complete, because the story demanded so much research and field work. If I haven’t put the effort my presentation and treatment would have not been very nice. The movie talks about, election campaign, by the political parties and money for vote. The movie has three storylines and I am sure audiences will love our humour touch in the movie. Sathya, Swetha Kai and Udhaya have performed the lead roles and they have done a good job. I am very confident and happy that from 8th Thappu thanda will be celeberated and enjoyed by the audience.” The teaser of the movie has already created an expectation among the audiences.
