‘Neruppuda’ starring Nikki Galrani and Vikram Prabhu is produced by Vikram Prabhu’s own production company First Artist. Director Ashok Kumar who worked as assistant director to Lakmanan in Romeo Juliet has directed Neruppuda. Director Ashok Kumar tells, “We would have seen many movies in which fire fighter would have been featured for a few moments but I think in Tamil cinema a full fledged movie about fire fighter have not been made. I have written this movie with two things that have always grabbed my attention. One is life of the people who live in the apartment another important thing is life of a fire fighter. I have written the script of Neruppuda considering these two factors. I have rendered the struggles of a fire fighter and how aware people should be about fire have been focused in this movie in a heart touching way. I am sure this movie will not only make fire fighter proud but also make people aware about fire.” After Sathriyan Vikram Prabhu next flick Neruppuda music is composed by Sean Roldan.
