Vijay Sethupathi is the busiest actor in Tamil cinema right now; he has released Kavan, Vikram Vedha, Puriyadha Pudhir and next he is ready to release Karuppan this year. Yet he has half a dozen movies in his hands and working on it. Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Junga’ movie with Idharkku thaana aasaipattai Balakumara director Gokul is going to be the biggest budget movie in his career and Vijay Sethupathi produces the big budget movie himself. Director Gokul says, “Vijay Sethupathi said that he wanted to work with me after Idharkku thana asaipattai Balakumara. I said I will come to him when I write a script that would suit him. I worked on Junga script, made it suitable for him and I narrated the story to him. He listened to the story very calm and he was very silent when I finished my narration. I thought he did not like it but he broke the silence saying he will produce the movie which made me very happy. I knew the budget would atleast cross 20 crores when I wrote the story. This is the first big budget and extravagant movie in his career so he must have thought it is safe to produce the movie by him. Half the movie will be made in France and the rest of the movie will be made in Chennai, Thoothukudi and Ramanathapuram. Sayyesha is pairing with Vijay Sethupathi in the movie and Yogi Babu is also playing an important role. After Andavan Kattalai this must be the next movie Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu are together. We are trying to rope in many leading experts in Tamil cinema to support the technical aspects of the movie. This movie will be a typical Vijay Sethupathi’s mass entertainer. The movie has action love comedy and all commercial elements in correct proportions and will entertain all kinds of audiences. The first shooting schedule is planned by end of this month.” It is expected that Vijay Sethupathi’s Junga, first look poster will be released on Diwali.
