After two years of wait Ajith fans are celebrating this day as their Diwali. Today, Vivegam directed by Siva starring Ajithkumar, Kajal Agarwal, Akshara Hassan, Vivek Oberoi and Karunagaran released today. Across Tamilnadu it has become a festive season today. Fireworks, band music, tall cut outs for Ajith, masses waiting outside the theaters, college students celebration and long que at the ticket counters this is the scenario at tamilnadu today. As there was a huge crowd in Kasi Theater is blocking the roads in Chennai, so vehicles on the road are moving very slow. Such a huge opening for this movie and fans celebration outside the theater hasn’t stopped till now. Movie has got mixed reviews but no doubt the movie is a massive hit. Few of the scenes from Vivegam got leaked in the internet and it is going viral in social media, Ram cinemas have made a tall cut out for Ajith in Thirunelveli it stands 180 feet tall, previously Ram cinemas made a tall cut out for Vijay’s Bairava it was 150 feet tall. A few awkward scenes have also happen after tickets bookings were open for vivegam fans in Pondichery have waited since yesterday to buy tickets for special show at Balaji Theater, but the the counter wasn’t opened for the special show as time passed the crowd was pouring in to buy the tickets. Later, in the midnight the theater announced that no tickets for special show this made Ajith fans angry and they tore all banners in the theaters except for Vivegam and they demanded tickets for Vivegam special show. So Pondichery police was brought in to maintain law and order. This is the biggest opening for Ajith in his entire career.
