Nenjil Thunivirundhal directed by Suseenthiran, starring Sundeep Kishan and Vikranth. Yesterday (22nd August) evening it was announced that the movie will be released on Diwali. Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Mersal is also a Diwali release so it was said Suseenthiran’s Nenjil Thunivirundhal releases against Mersal. Suseenthiran has officially given a press note stating that he is not releasing his film against Mersal. Suseenthiran, in his statement, has said, "We have planned to release Nenjil Thunivirundhal from Diwali. Everyone is asking me if we are releasing the film against Mersal. I would like to clarify that we aren't releasing our film against Mersal, but along with Mersal. My earlier film Pandiyanaadu released along with Arrambam in 2013 and at that time, both of our films were successful." Suseenthiran expects both, Mersal and Nenjil Thunivirundhal to turn out as successful films.
