The humour and witty punch lines are still fresh and funny. Words like ‘Laguda Pandigala’ ‘Dariyal’ ‘Kradhaga’ ‘Kaamundaga’ are still remembered from the movie. Right from the beginning the movie made everyone laugh, every scene is by heart to every Tamil cinema lover. After Sreedhar’s ‘Kadhalikka Neramillai’ Chimbu Devan’s ‘Imsai arasan 23rd Pulikecei’ takes its place as evergreen comedy. Vadivelu will be remembered for this movie and his legacy will remain until this movie remains as evidence. Now the same cast and crew are coming together for the film’s sequel titled ‘Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi’, which has started from today. The film is produced by director Shankar in collaboration with Lyca Productions. Ghibran has been signed to compose music for this film and National award winner Vivek Harshan for editing. Saravanan, a former associate of Nirav Shah will handle cinematography and Muthuraj on art department. Billa II fame Parvathy Omanakuttan has been signed to play the female lead opposite Vadivelu in this comedy based period film.
