Biopic of famous yesteryear actress Savitri is made in Tamil and Telugu. In Tamil the movie is title ‘Nadigaiyar Thilakam’ and in Telugu it is titled as ‘Maganadhi’. Vaijayanthi movies and Swapna cinemas are jointly producing the movie and the movie is going to be directed by Nag Ashwin. The cast of the movie is very interesting. Keerthi Suresh is going to act as Savitri and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is acting as the reporter. And we all know Gemini Ganesan was Savitri’s husband and how immensely she was in love with him. Though Gemini Ganesan was Savitri’s husband he was an actor too his performances in many movies where loved by the Tamils. Next to MGR and Sivaji, Gemini Ganesan stood tall in Tamil cinema. Dulquer Salmaan is acting as Gemini Ganesan in this biopic. Vijay Thevarakonda is acting as Samantha’s pair, now the latest update about this movie is Prakash Raj is going to act as Vijaya Vagini Sakrapani in Savitri’s biopic. Prakash Raj is going to join the shooting tomorrow in Hyderabad.
