Samantha Ruth Prabhu hosted the ‘Woven 2017’ event. She said her interaction with the weaving community sowed a thought of reviving this dying art in the recent times. She recollected a conversation with a old wavier man and came to know the truth that the tradition may die with him. Soon Samantha is planning to launch a exclusive store ‘Tweave’ futher she said, “Everything will be directly sourced from the weavers and government co-operative societies. New fashionable designs will be available in affordable price.” She being a brand ambassador of handloom for Telungana, she is working with the government to make this possible. Many other Telugu stars Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel, Ritu Varma and Mehreen were also found in the event.
