Nowadays, a strong female lead in a movie is most welcomed among our youngsters. Tharamani directed by Ram featuring Andrea Jeramiah and Vasanth Ravi is on such film. The movie is produced by JSK films and music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Tharamani releases on August 11th. When director Ram was asked about the movie, “I live in an apartment, so get to see so many youngsters living and leading their lives. I observed their life style and day to day activities and that inspired me to make Tharamani. Globalization has given freedom and confidence to our Tamil women. But our men have been trapped in between modern rational thoughts and old irrational preachings, this makes them difficult to understand women and their life and the Tharamani is talking about this confusion. This movie is not about the women or men who work in IT sectors; Tharamani has various cultures and colours. The movie reflects the now gen scenario.”
