Sangamithra is an upcoming two-part multilingual epic historical drama film written and directed by Sundar C. Many rumours about ‘Samgamithra’ were whispered since the day the project was announced by the director. Initially it was said that Shruthi Hassan was the lead female role in the movie later it was denied by the team. Later Hansika was said to be Sangamithra movies lead female and she has replaced Shruthi Hassan. It is also to be noted that the team had a grand launch at Cannes Film Festival, which was attended by composer AR Rahman, Jayam Ravi, and Arya. Now, sources close to the team says that Hansika, has been completely ruled out and that the team will be conducting a test shoot in the upcoming week with the whole technical team as it is a big project. The replacement for Shruthi has been a big question for quite some time now, and we can expect an announcement very soon from the production side!
