After Baahubali’s massive smashing hit, Tollywood is seriously making some period films, Balakrishna made a period film 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'. Next, it’s going to be the Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi to attempt with the period film titled ‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’, which will be shot in a grand scale. Before few days, sources said that Nayantara will be playing the female lead role in this film and now a big name is included in the list. Sources no say that Amitabh Bachchan might also be roped in this movie, so he has seemingly joined the league. Above all these speculations, the official confirmation will be made in 2 or 3 days.

It looks like the makers are keen on bringing Pan-Indian impact to the film thereby bringing in as many as actors from all the regional industries as possible.

Amitabh Bachchan (born Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan on 11 October 1942), is an Indian film actor. He first gained popularity in the early 1970s as the "angry young man" of Hindi cinema, and has since become one of the most prominent figures in the history of Indian cinema.

Bachchan has won numerous major awards in his career, including four National Film Awards, three of which are in the Best Actor category, and fourteen Filmfare Awards. He is the most-nominated performer in any major acting category at Filmfare, with 36 nominations overall. In addition to acting, Bachchan has worked as a playback singer, film producer and television presenter, and was an elected member of the Indian Parliament from 1984 to 1987.
