Action King Arjun is stylish cop in ‘Nibunan’

Nibunan

Tamil cinema has seen many heroes as cops. MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajini, Kamal, Sathyaraj, Vijayakanth, Ajith, Vijay, Suriya and many other have appeared as cops. But it is only one hero who we get in our minds when we imagine about a cop. It is never easy to play a cop role and get accepted by the audience. That too mastering that category for decades together takes a tremendous amount of skill and hard work. 'Action King' Arjun has done and achieved it with ease. Thirty-two years into the movie industry and he is still looking fabulously fit and stylish, Arjun is all excited about the release of his landmark 150th movie, 'Nibunan' on July 28th. Talking about it, the Action King Arjun says, “It’s been a very enjoyable journey. I have loved every part of it and come over all the odds. Although I have done several cop stories,’ NIBUNAN’ will stand out for the sheer brilliance in the screenplay. It is definitely not a usual cop thriller. It is told in a totally different dimension. I play as DSP in the crime branch. My character is very intelligent and strong but with his own weakness just like any other human being. How he balances his family and professional life is told in a very relatable manner. It was lovely to work with director Arun Vaidhyanathan. He is such a perfectionist that he does his homework so well and comes fully prepared to the sets daily. The whole team has given everything they got and the movie has come out fantastically well. I am sure the audience will love ‘NIBUNAN’. My co stars in this film Prasanna, Varalakshmi, Shruthi Hariharan and Vaibhav were phenomenal in their respective roles. After all, successful films are made out of team work, and here we are on the door steps of a successful release” signed off Arjun.
