Local body tax has become Tamil film industry’s biggest enemy. Today morning Rajini tweeted about the local body tax exemption and he wants Tamilnadu government to take a serious action on this so he made a polite statement. This tweet has created a ripple, many have re tweeted and many thanked Rajini for supporting a genuine cause. Kamal Hassan continuously standing against this double taxation, he has also thanked Rajini. Rajini’s statement about GST has come up after director Cheran's request. Cheran opens up about this to a local reporter. He said, “It creates a positive development when big stars from industry talk about this issue.” He also adds, “I requested Superstar to voice for this and he voiced his opinion in twitter. What more is left to talk about this?” Cheran left with this question.
