Local body tax has become Tamil film industry’s biggest enemy. Today morning Rajini tweeted about the local body tax exemption and he wants Tamilnadu government to take a serious action on this so he made a polite statement, “Keeping in mind the livelihood of lakhs of peoplein the Tamil film industry, I sincerely request Tamilnadu government to seriously concider our plea.” This tweet has created a ripple, many re tweeted and many thanked Rajini for supporting a genuine cause. Kamal Hassan continuously standing against this double taxation. He has thanked Rajini and he also gives a hint why Rajini shows his politeness. “Thanks Rajni avaragaLay for voicing your concern. Lets request first as gentlemen should. Then we shall see. @superstarrajini & TN.Govt.” ‘let’s request first as gentlemen should. Then we shall see.’ This line has grabbed mainstream media’s attention and this has become a major statement in his career.
