Vijay has teamed with director Atlee for the second time for ‘Thalapathy 61’ and the shooting is currently under progress. Vijay will be seen in a tripe role in this flick while Nithya Menen, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha are paired opposite him. Nithya Menen completed her portions and Kajal Aggarwal is currently shooting in Europe with Vijay. It is reported that the team will return soon and begin their next schedule from June in Chennai. Samantha will join the team for their next schedule in Chennai. A R Rahman is rendering music and Sri Thenandal Films are producing the film.
