Superstar Rajinikanth has completed shooting for director Shankar’s ‘2.0’ and as reported earlier Thailavar will be beginning his next with director Ranjith produced by Dhanush under his banner ‘Wunderbar Films’. Direrctor Ranjith and Rajini are collaborating for the second time after their blockbuster hit film ‘Kabali’. The shooting of this untitled film will begin shortly in Mumbai. It is also speculated that Rajinikanth will be essaying the role of a Tamil don named Haji Masthan who ruled Mumbai in the 80’s and 90’s! Masthan dealt with real estate and film financing. He wore white dress, white shoes and rode a white car and it was his fashion statement! This film is Rajinikanth’s 161st film and if the rumour is true, Superstar is back again as a don after ‘Baasha’. An official announcement is expected regsrding this.
