Director – Actress Nandita Das is currently busy in directing a film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the film is titles as ‘Manto’. This biographical film is based on the Indo – Pakistan writer Saadat Hasan Manto. Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrays the role of Saadat Haasan Manto in the film and legendary actor Rishi Kapoor is roped in to play a crucial role in the film. This special role was supposed to be played by late veteran actor Om Puri, but the actor unfortunately passed away leaving a void in the industry. The director was looking for an actor to replace Om Puri’s role and Rishi Kapoor was preferred to play the special role. Rishi Kappor’s role in the film is not yet revealed! Exciting Nawazuddin Siddiqui tweeted in his official twitter handle and stated: “It was indeed a pleasure sharing the screen with @chintskap Sir, what an amazing energy you possess even now.” Rishi Kapoor responded to him and tweeted: <b>“Thank you Nawaz!
