‘Ilai’ is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Debutante Bineesh Raj and actress Swathy Narayanan makes her Tamil debut with this film. Sujith, Kannada actor King Mohan, Malayalam actress Sridevi, Viju Prakash, Kanagalatha and Kavya have played crucial roles in ‘Ilai’. This film stresses the importance of Girl’s education. Recently censor board reviewed the film and appreciated the team for handling a sensitive subject. ‘Ilai’ film was granted with ‘U’ certificate. Director Bineesh Raj is happy over the censor board appreciation and he is also positive that this film has the elements equal to a typical commercial entertainer. Santhosh Anjal has handled cinematography and editing is done by Dijo Joseph. Music for the film is composed by Vishnu V Divakaran. ‘Leaf productions International’ has produced this film and director Bineesh Raj will be distributing the film under his banner ‘Action Reaction’ across Tamil Nadu during its release. ‘Ilai’ is all set to hit the theaters on April 21.
