Director Chakri Toleti of ‘Billa 2’ and ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ fame has directed ‘Kolaiyuthir Kaalam’. Lady Superstar Nayanthara is playing the lead role in this Murder – Drama film. Vashu Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh of ‘Pooja Entertainments’ are making their debut Tamil production with this film. ‘Kolaiyuthir Kaalam’ press meet was held on March 31st in Chennai. Vashu Bhagnani attended the press meet along with other dignitaries. ‘Pooja Entertainments’ produced their first Bollywood film ‘Coolie No 1’ in 1995. ‘Kolayuthir Kaalam’ will be the 31st film for the production company. Vashu Bhagnani shared that his passion for cinema began when he watched the Tamil film ‘Chinna Maapillai’ and remade in Hindi. He also went on to remake Kamal Haasan’s ‘Sadhi Leelavathi’ in Hindi later. Vashu Bhagnani is happy in producing Nayanthara starrer ‘Kolaiyuthir Kaalam’. He wishes to introduce Nayanthara in Bollywood because of her splendid talent. The film is also remade in Hindi where Tamannaah will be reprising Nayanthara’s role while Prabhu Dheva plays a crucial role in the film. The producer concluded that he is also happy to be associated with ‘Abishek Films’, who will be distributing ‘Kolayuthir Kaalam’ all over Tamil Nadu during its release.
