Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘The Ring’ directed by Imitiaz Ali was sold recently to Narendra Hirawat of ‘NH Studioz’ for domestic and international distribution for 125 crores! This came as a huge surprise because the film’s title was tentative and was not confirmed yet. Anushka Sharma plays the female lead in this film. Now, Narendra Hirawat has once again bagged Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ distributional rights for all over India except Central India. The film directed by Kabir Khan was sold to ‘NH Studioz’ for 132 crores! Salim Khan will be distributing the film across Central India. This Sino – Indian war film has Chinese actress Zhu Zhu as the female lead. ‘Tubelight’ beats the record of Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ and ‘The Ring’ which was sold for 125 crores. ‘Tubelight’ is planned for an Eid release this year.
