‘Padmavati’ is a fictional story of legendary Queen Rani Padmini, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film has Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. Deepika essays the role of Rani Padmini wife of Rawal Ratan Singh, the ruler of Mewar played by Shahid Kapoor. Ranveer Singh portrays the role of Turkic Ruler Alauddin Khilji. The other cast includes Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonu Sood and Vivek Oberoi in crucial roles. The film has been in trouble since the beginning of the shoot, even though the director clarified that the film is completely fictional. Previously Karni Sena members attacked which halted the shoot and recently some unidentified members torched the sets in Kolhapur which destroyed costumes and several properties. Amid all these troubles, ‘Padmavati’ will be released on November 17th as per scheduled. Yes!! Bhansali Productions shared the news in their official twitter account and stated as: <b>“#Padmavati is releasing on 17 November 2017 No changes in release date.”</b> It’s good news indeed!!
