‘Thangaratham’ is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Balamurugan. The film leads Vetri, Adithi Krishanan and Music composer Tony Britto have made their debut with this film. Soundara Raja of ‘Sundara Pandian’ fame has played another lead role in the film. C M Varghese of ‘NTC Media’ has produced the film in collaboration with Binu Ram of ‘Vcare Productions’. ‘Thangaratham’ team held their press-meet in Prasad Labs on March 15th prior to their film’s release on 24th March. The excerpts from the meet as follows: Actor Vetri, the hero of ‘Thanagaratham’ is happy for debuting in this village love story after his characters in ‘Enakul Oruvan’ & ‘Strawberry’. He thanked his guru Muthusami for bringing out the talent in him. Heroine Adithi Krishnan thanked director Balamurugan for constantly helping her throughout the film as it was her first film. She also told that ‘Thangaratham’ will be family entertainer with the right combination of emotions. Actor Soundara Raja, another film lead has played the role of an aggressive yet loving brother of the heroine in the film. He told that this was the first time he had received his entire salary from the producer after acting in more than 20 films. Soundharraja is in double delight as one more film of him is releasing on the same day along with ‘Thanagaratham’. Music Composer Tony Britto told that it was challenging for him to compose the music as the director is an ardent music lover. Look like the director has also written lyrics for 3 songs in the film. Tony thanked the producer for allowing the team to record in Macedonia & in Australia for the emotional BGMs in the film. Producer C M Varghese told that he was impressed with the story line and immediately accepted to produce this film. Distributor Venkatesh told that they have taken new step towards their film. They have also planned to implement Ticket marketing in their film & have also considered to sell 1 lakh tickets across Tamil Nadu. He is confident that if this marketing works, all the small budget film will opt the same marketing to gain the reach among the audience. Director Balamurugan shared that Vetri and Soundara Raja will be the two leads in the film. He also told that according to the experiences he gained in Ottanchathiram Market, he has directed this film. The director also told that media is the hero for debutants who act in the film and requested media to support the small budget films in reaching the audiences.
