National Award winner, director Samuthirakani has completed the shooting of his upcoming directorial venture ‘Thondan’. The director has also acted along with Vikranth and Sunaina in lead roles.

Director V Z Durai is all set to direct his next by casting Samuthirakani in lead role. The yet-to-be-titled flick has two female leads.

V Z Durai has directed and delivered hit films like Ajith’s ‘Mugavaree’, Vikram’s ‘Kaadhal Sadugudu’, Simbu’s ‘Thotti Jaya’, Bharath’s ‘Nepali’ & Shaam’s ‘6’.

P Samuthirakani is a Tamil film actor and director. He worked as an assistant to director K Balachander. His 2009 directorial Naadodigal was a runaway hit, which was later remade in three languages. He has acted in several films as well and is best known for his performances in Subramaniapuram, Easan (both directed by M Sasikumar), and Saattai.
