Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently directing ‘Padmavati’ starring Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. The plot of the film is fictionally based on the life of Rani Padmini. Some protesters have been against the film and they have been creating hurdles to stop the film’s shoot. Previously a painter died by falling down while building the set. Later the Rajasthan schedule was wrapped up due to Karni Sena. A group of unidentified men last night around 12.30 have torched and destroyed the sets in Kolhapur and they have also hurt the security crew. The filmmaker did not wish to lodge a police complaint against the issue!! We hope that the team is able to complete their remaining schedules on time amid these issues. ‘Padamavati’ is slated to be released on November 17.
