Vijay is currently busy in shooting for director Atlee’s next. Nitya Menen, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha have been roped in to play the female lead and Vijay is all set to rock with triple roles for the first time.

Vijay has been shooting with Nitya Menen for the 80’s sequences. Looks like the team will go to US to begin their next schedule. Vijay is trying to lose weight for his younger twin role.

Atlee has already announced for the Tamil New Year surprise for all Vijay fans regarding ‘Vijay 61’.

Mersal is an Indian Tamil-language epic action masala film directed by Atlee and written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. The film stars Vijay in lead role with Jyothika, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, S. J. Surya, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan. The film holds a formidable technical team, A. R. Rahman as the music composer, Ruben will handle the cuts while debutant GK Vishnu will be the man behind the camera, the art department will be headed by T. Muthuraj and Neeraja Kona is the costume designer.
