We earlier reported that Keerthy Suresh and Samantha have teamed up to star in legendary actress Savitri’s biopic titled ‘Nadigayar Thilagam’ in Tamil and ‘Mahanati’ in Telugu directed by Nag Ashwin. The film’s poster was unveiled on Women’s day which confirmed the actresses’ roles in the bilingual biopic. Keerthy Suresh will portray as actress Savitri while Samantha’s role was not announced. Now Samantha’s role is confirmed!! Samantha will portray the role of ace actress Jamuna, who was popular in Tamil and Telugu industries & she was also good friend of actress Savitri. Jamuna and Savitri separated after a misunderstanding which happened to destroy their friendship. Looks like Samantha will narrate the story of actress Savitri in the biopic as actress Jamuna.
