“That frustration triggered me to direct better cinema”, says Bharathiraja at the ‘Kanavu Variyam’ audio launch. The audio and trailer of the movie ‘Kanavu Variyam’ which got international recognition and distributed by Warner Bros pictures, was launched today by the celebrities like ace director Bharathiraja, ISRO director Sivan, Singer Seerkazhi Sivachidambaram, Indian Rupee designer Udaya Kumar, ‘Nallakeerai’ Jegannathan and Tamilnadu Weatherman Pradeep John respectively graced the occasion. Director Bharathiraja praised the director saying that amidst the sci-fi cinemas taken nowadays, the director of ‘Kanavu Variyam’ has brought out the culture and essence of village drama genre back to Tamil cinema. He also added that he was able to take good cinema in villages after being frustrated in the shooting sets. Singer Seerkazhi Sivachidambaram was happy that youngsters have again gone back to farming and preserving our culture from the corporate culture. ISRO director appreciated the film saying that the movie not only brought his childhood memories back but also the recognition of gross root innovation was highly appreciated.
