The once again cop action entertainer from Jayam Ravi, Bogan was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on February 9. But looks like the makers of C3 are on a dilemma on the release date of the Suriya starrer and locked the Feb 9 as the release date recently. Hence in order to avoid the box office clash, Bogan has been preponed to open to theatres on February 2. The news has been announced officially by the actor himself via his Twitter handle. The auspicious Thursday also marks the solo release in the four day weekend. Produced by Prabhu Deva Studios, Sri Green Productions have bought the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for this flick. Directed by Lakshman, Hansika plays the female lead with Ravi for the second time along with Arvind Swamy as a baddie with equal screen time as the protagonist. Along with them, Akshara Gowda who was last seen in Thuppakki and Arambam is roped in for a key role. Few sources suggest that the movie's plot is based on a 1997 Hollywood film ‘Face Off’ starring Nicolas Cage and John Travolta
