Actress Anjali's upcoming horror comedy Chitrangada / Yarni which was much expected in the tinsel town to hit the screens this Republic Day weekend. However it has been postponed in its release date to February 10. This bilingual made simultaneously in Tamil & Telugu is said to have heavy computer graphics works in place and hence the delay. Though the shooting was completed quite sometime back, the post production works are dragging the days. Starring Anjali in the women-centric role, the diva is said to be having a new makeover in this horizontal thriller cum comedy. The filming was done extensively at US locations and even the post production works are also done at US itself. Anjali has been involving in the promotional activities by herself in the recent days and she was last seen in the stages at Hyderabad. The film's plot is rumoured to have good twists and turns with the supporting roles played by Sindhu Tulani, Sapthagiri and Raksha. The technical crew has Selvaganesh and Swaminathan scoring the tunes jointly. Directed by Ashok G of Pilla Zamindar fame, it is funded together by Rahman and Gangapatnam Sridhar.
