Shatamanam Bhavati, the family entertainer released for this Sankranthi weekend on January 12 and received huge response from the Tollywood audience. This flick had faced a tough competition at the box office with Nandamuri Balakrishna's Gautamiputra Satakarni and Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No.150 yet emerged out successful. On the first day, it grossed about 3 crores in the domestic market alone and the same momentum was followed for the next 3 days. The detailed breakups are: 1) Nizam region - 2.8 crores, 2) Ceded - 0.99 crores, 3) Nellore - 0.20 crores, 4) Guntur - 0.63 crores, 5) Krishna region - 0.49 crores, 6) West and East Godavari districts - 1.77 crores and 7) Uttarandhra - 1.34 crores. The total sums upto 8.23 crores which is a decent run for the Sharwanand starrer. Directed by Satish Vegesna and produced by Dil Raju, this romantic drama was a right release for the festival week. Not to mention, the performances delivered by Anupama Parameswaran as the leading lady and Prakash Raj - Jayasudha in the elderly roles were heartwarming on screen.
