Karthi who wrapped up the shooting of his romantic drama Kaatru Veliyidai with Mani Ratnam few few days back is all set to kickstart his next. Titled as Dheeran Adhigaaram Ondru, reports are rounding that it is going to be a cop action thriller in which the Kashmora actor dons khaki for the second time after Siruthai. To be directed by H.Vinoth who earlier delivered the silent hit Sathuranga Vettai, the pre-production works are almost over and the shooting will commence from January 17 after Pongal. The movie's plot is said to revolve around 3 main characters played by the protagonist Karthi, the leading lady Rakul Preet Singh and the antagonist Abhimanyu Singh (the villian of Thalaiva & 10 Endrathukulla). Karthi who sported a lean look as a pilot in Kaatru Veliyidai is said to have beefed up his physique in order to be fit for a cop. The actor is said to be undergoing a special realistic training with the police officers at YMCA campus, Chennai for giving a perfect delivery in his role. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures who bankrolled Kashmora, Ghibran has been roped in to score the tunes.
