Vijay Sethupathi's combo with T Rajendar in his upcoming Kavan has been much expected in the tinsel town with its first look posters stirring the curiosity among the movie buffs. Directed by KV Anand, the makers have fixed the release date to be March 31. Mani Ratnam’s much anticipated film Kaatru Veliyidai will be opening to screens one week before to it on March 24. The shooting of Kavan has been wrapped up few weeks back and the post production works are going on at a full swing. Plans are being made to reveal the album scored by HipHop Tamizha in the first week of February. Produced by AGS Entertainments, Madonna Sebastian plays the female lead for Vijay Sethupathi second time after their success in Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum. The supporting cast has Nasser, Vikranth, Madonna Sebastian, Pandiarajan, Jagan, Bose Venkat and Akashdeep Saighal. The movie's story is said to revolve around TRP (Television Rating Point) war among the satellite channels and television anchors focussed with a political angle like in the director's film Ko.
